Residential & Commercial Roofing

Your Roof – Sound Protection for Your Family & Your Business

Making sure your roof is sound and secure is incredibly important, yet many homeowners will miss the telltale signs of roof failure. Like everything in your home, it requires maintenance. We suggest a roof inspection every so often to make sure your home or business roof is performing at its peak. One of our major specialties is in roof repair and maintenance. Maintaining your roof is a low-cost way of ensuring that your home, your family, your employees, and your business stay safe.

Types of Roofing

Asphalt/Composition Shingles: Both are perfect for our climate here in San Luis Obispo and both come in a wide array of colors and composition.

Built-Up Roofing: Best used for low-slope roofs and can be found in residential and commercial applications. Layers of fabric and bitumen (asphalt) is used and topped with a layer of aggregate.

Single Ply - PVC, TPO Roofing: Another favorite of commercial and some residential low-slope roofs. Goes on like sheeting and is surprisingly resilient to the elements.

Concrete Tile: This is a less expensive alternative to clay tile roofing. They resist rotting, have great protection and longevity.

Clay Tile: Durability and style go hand in hand. Clay tile roofs can last up to 100 years in our climate. These tiles can take hail, high winds and still look beautiful year in and year out.

Cedar Wood: This roofing material is beautiful, but it takes a little bit of maintenance to stay looking great year after year. Cedar needs to breathe. So, keeping leaves, branches and debris out is very important. Talk to us about a maintenance plan when we install your new cedar roof.

Metal Roofing: Who doesn’t love a metal roof. Sharp looking and among the most durable roofs we install. It comes in all kinds of colors as well.

Torch Applied: Just like it sounds. Torch applied roofing is modified bitumen rolled out in sheets and we use a hand-held propane torch to heat the material which makes it stick.

We check the general condition of the roof and recommend any actions needed. Proper maintenance will extend the life of your roof and prevent costly water damage to the structure and interior of your home. We also do roof inspections.
